All donations received by the Gippsland Emergency Relief Fund are distributed to disaster victims in Gippsland. All donations are tax deductible.
The Fund is a registered charitable organisation (Registered number A0020241A), making all donations tax deductible. All donations are returned to the community and no costs are removed.
The fund provides relief and assistance to persons residing in the Gippsland municipalities of Bass Coast, South Gippsland, Latrobe, Baw Baw, Wellington and East Gippsland who suffer injury, loss, or damage from natural disasters.
GERF continues to seek donations throughout the year so that in the event of a future disaster, the fund can quickly provide money to the community.
To donate to GERF, donations can be made via post (made out to Gippsland Emergency Relief Fund, PO Box 508, Traralgon Vic 3844), in person at Alan Wilson Insurance Brokers 40 Argyle Street Traralgon or through direct donation at any NAB branch.
NB: Donation deposits through the National Australia Bank or by cheque do not attract any fees. Statutory costs and audit fees are funded from interest received on donations.
